2024 Timeline

A smattering of events from 2024

January: B+

• Maia started gymnastics.
• Did a lot of web administration stuff and earned an AWS cert.
• It snowed moderately.

February: B+

• Rebecca got a new car.
• Did a lot of web administration stuff.

March: A

• Got a new phone.
• Upgraded our electrical system and got an EV charger installed.
• Went to Bethany Beach for Spring Break.

April: B

• Survived an eclipse.
• Redecorated the basement bathroom.
• Ian turned 3.

May: B-

• Ian had his first overnight grandparents visit.
• Amber died at the age of 19.

June: B+

• Went to Lake Anna for summer vacation.

July: B+

• Maia turned 7 and went to the cat cafe.
• Quick overnight trip to Winchester.
• Painted our driveway white.

August: B

• Saw AJR in DC.
• Visited the Ahlbins.
• Maia and Ian had their first movie theatre experience.
• Bought a new dryer.

September: A

• Turned 45.
• Maia discovered a love of snow crab legs.
• Got addicted to Satisfactory.

October: C+

• Spent Fall Break in Lusby, MD.
• My dad broke his hip.

November: B

• Went to Shenandoah for 2nd Fall Break.
• Adopted new kittens.

December: B

• Hosted the Whitmer clan for a late Thanksgiving.
• Participated in Advent of Code for the 7th straight year.
• Hosted Sara and Karl for Christmas.
